Jochen Schwenk, fresh out of university with an MBA, was on a fast track in his career, excelling as a management professional in purchasing at Johnson & Johnson in Europe. For many, it would have been the pinnacle of success. But destiny had a different plan.
One day, Jochen’s former boss, now leading a major car manufacturer, reached out with a dire situation. A critical supplier was on the verge of financial collapse, threatening the entire supply chain. Without hesitation, Jochen took on the challenge, dedicating countless hours to stabilize the crisis. The mission was a success, the supply chain was secured, and an undeniable realization emerged: the world needed specialists who could navigate such high-stakes, complex situations.
